Ugly



April 7, 2014. Back in Moncton, in the office for some meetings, then a quick run to Costco. This sign - the ugliest in the city, and possibly anywhere, is across the road from Costco. I have no idea what they were thinking. By contrast - I'm enjoying the clear blue sky and warm weather (which will melt that ugly road-snow in the foreground).

Worked through the morning, drove home at lunch (much easier!) and spent the afternoon working from home. Dow's Lake

March 2, 2024. The frozen surface of Dow's lake with a sheen of meltwater on it. This was a view as I took an 11 km ride on my new bicycle today. First ride of the year, first ride on the new bike.
