Pompeii


September 29, 2015. The scale of the city - and therefore the devastation - is astonishing. There are stadia, amplitheatres, shops, homes, streets on streets on streets - and people, still caught in the moment their last breath was choked with ash. This is just one minor part of Pompeii, with Vesuvius in the background. It has been an incredible day, but a difficult one - one of my bad teeth has made my life miserable all day. March 22, 2024. Print by someone known as 'Ryan 100' in our room at the Brookstreet. I liked it, through it looked like it was water damaged. It was still the best art in the room. Worked through the morning, drove home at lunch (much easier!) and spent the afternoon working from home.
