Szczecin


December 5, 2015. Took the train from Berlin to the Polish city of Szczecin. It's an interesting port city on the Oder river. The bulk of the city is made up of apartment complexes, but there are nice parks and avenues, and overall looked like a quiet and pleasant city to live in. From Flickr http://ift.tt/1U5BoRg

Worked through the morning, drove home at lunch (much easier!) and spent the afternoon working from home. March 2, 2024. The frozen surface of Dow's lake with a sheen of meltwater on it. This was a view as I took an 11 km ride on my new bicycle today. First ride of the year, first ride on the new bike.
